Live cameras in the Faroe Islands

The Faroe Islands has 65 public cameras on opencam, from 6 sources across 19 towns and regions.

52 of them are scenic webcams — mountains, coasts, lakes and town squares, most of them with a new picture every few minutes. 4 stream live video; the others publish snapshots, which the map asks for again every 15 seconds while you watch.

opencam passes each live picture on as it arrives. It does not record, does not identify anyone and keeps no archive — see where the data comes from and why a camera shows a still image or is offline.
