Live cameras in South Korea

South Korea has 2,645 public cameras on opencam, from 22 sources across 82 towns and regions.

174 of them are scenic webcams — mountains, coasts, lakes and town squares, most of them with a new picture every few minutes. 2,408 stream live video; the others publish snapshots, which the map asks for again every 15 seconds while you watch.

opencam passes each live picture on as it arrives. It does not record, does not identify anyone and keeps no archive — see where the data comes from and why a camera shows a still image or is offline.
